The Rev. Jody Greenwood began serving as our Rector in September of 2017. She earned her Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University and was ordained in the Diocese of Atlanta in 2013. She served four years as Associate Rector at Christ Church in Norcross, GA before being called to COS. She’s passionate about outreach, racial equity, radical hospitality, and making Jesus’ message accessible to all.

A cradle Episcopalian, Jody spent most of her life in Houston, Texas, including a twenty-year career in banking operations, process improvement and strategic planning. She received her undergraduate degree from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.

Jody loves to spend her leisure time walking on the beach and discovering enticing restaurants with her wife, Alice. When time allows, Jody likes to read, ride her bicycle, play golf, or just hang out with their dynamic rescue-dogs, Abbey, Roxie and Finn.
