Catherine joined Church of the Servant as Music Director in August of 2023 after serving in the same position at Holy Trinity Episcopal, Hampstead for 22 years.She has served Episcopal congregations in the Diocese of East Carolina for over 35 years.

A native of North Carolina, Catherine earned a Bachelor of Music degree from UNC Greensboro with a concentration in Music Education and pursued private study in organ for over twenty years to hone her craft. She is a founding member of Schola Cantorum - a choral group within our diocese - and is a regular participant in the annual Conference on Church Music at Trinity Center. During the week, she is a K-5th grade Music Specialist for Castle Hayne Elementary School where she has been since 2009.

Catherine loves going to the movies, reading, cooking, traveling, and has toured England with Schola several times. She shares her home with her basenjis Isaac, and his younger sister, Tilly.
