Service can mean joining in to help with worship or being part of other ministries of the Church. It can mean providing a helping hand to our faith community during times of need as part of our Parish Care team. And it most certainly includes service to the wider community through support of our outreach partners. So, many opportunities abound to bring love and comfort as we serve together.

Parish Care

Parish Care is a vital lay ministry dedicated to supporting one another. This is done by intentional praying, sending cards, calling, visiting, providing meals, creating prayer shawls and providing transportation. To inquire about any of these ministries, please contact the church office.

Racial Equity Project

The Racial Equity Project at Church of the Servant is focused on racial justice and healing beginning with our parish and expanding into the wider community. This group was formed in response to the Vestry decision in 2022 to focus on racial justice. We understand that this essential work will be an ongoing mission throughout the life of our church. What are you looking for?

These are the first words spoken by Jesus in John’s gospel, directed to a seeker named Andrew. We are all seekers, and while we may not know how to express what it is we’re looking for, we trust that we’ll know it when we see it.

At Church of the Servant, we seek, serve, and celebrate God and each other in a safe and accepting community. We welcome people from various backgrounds and ethnicities, those who are straight, LGBTQ, married, partnered, single, from other denominations and faith traditions, life-long Episcopalians, brand new to church or returning to church after a long absence.

Though not like a social or professional organization, the Episcopal Church does have membership criteria. These aren’t meant to say who is "in" or who is "out", but instead, to establish who has taken an intentional step to be part of a worshiping community and who is either still discerning, or someone we should invite to join us on this faith journey!
