Prayer Group - Prayer Shawls | Church of the Servant Wilmington

The Prayer Group has been meeting via Zoom once a week on Mondays to pray for parishioners and any other special needs. A group of faithful parishioners also meet monthly (during Covid via Zoom) to knit and crochet prayer shawls. The camaraderie adds to the love weaved into each shawl which will be blessed and lovingly provided to someone who needs the comfort and healing touch of the prayer shawl.

These are the first words spoken by Jesus in John’s gospel, directed to a seeker named Andrew. We are all seekers, and while we may not know how to express what it is we’re looking for, we trust that we’ll know it when we see it.

At Church of the Servant, we seek, serve, and celebrate God and each other in a safe and accepting community.
