OPEN HOUSE for Children, Youth and Families
Join us for an OPEN HOUSE on Sunday, August 28, 9:30-10:15am.
Families will have the opportunity to visit and explore the Atrium where children (ages 3 through 5th grade) gather Sunday mornings to focus on the love of God, the teachings of Jesus, and timeless moments of worship through the use of hands-on materials, art, reading, and writing. The program is led by trained Catechists who will be available at the open house to answer questions about the program and the curriculum, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd that recognizes the unique relationship that God and children have with one another. The growth of this relationship is assisted by the adult but is directed by the Spirit of God within the child.
ILLUMIN8 is our program for middle and high school students. This engaging Sunday School program allows our youth to delve deeper into each week’s gospel reading and consider how it applies to daily life. Come to meet our Illumin8 leaders, including our new Director of Youth Ministry Jonathan D'Amico, to learn more about this unique program that creates space for open conversation with peers and adults, to explore what it means, and what it looks like, to be followers of Jesus.
