My Favorite Book - Fisher Manning | Church of the Servant Wilmington

The book I chose was The Maze Runner. It is a sci-fi and action book. This is my favorite book because the story is magnificent! I will give you a brief synopsis of the story.

In the beginning there are people called “Gladers.” These people are teenagers who have lost their memories and been put in a moving maze by an organization named WICKED. This maze has a safe zone called “The Glade,” and the Runners have to return to the Glade before the walls close!

Something I like about this book is how when Thomas arrives in the Glade, he is put in a position of terror more times than you could imagine. Thomas has to take control of the role he has been assigned as a Glader and as a friend.

There are lots more things I like about this book, such as how Thomas was the first to kill a Griever or when Teresa came the day after Thomas arrived.

The author is James Dashner and he created a WICKED book!
